Four days ago at school, my S.S teacher, Okamoto Sensei, said that the ping pong club didn't have enough girls for the tournament today. So, my sister Nana and I decided to play for them. (He said that ANYONE was okay) So, without any experience at all of the game, we practiced with them for two days and this morning before the tournament at the public gymnasium. I had a lot of fun during practice with Aya and Konomi, and made friends with some of the boys on the team that I never thought I would actually like. (ESPECIALLY Nisiyama kun!!!)
Today, the matches began at around 9:45 and carried on until 5pm. About six schools' teams came. Nana and I of course got our buts kicked really badly, but it was fun. When we were walking home, Nagasaka Sensei had bought us both a manju because we had volunteered.
